PVGID Trustee Board Vacancy 

Now Accepting Letters of Interest!

The Palomino Valley General Improvement District has an open Trustee position due to a recent resignation.

We’re looking for a community-minded resident who wants to help guide the future of the Palomino Valley. This position will terminate December 31, 2026 as Washoe County will have this position available on the Ballot in November 2026.

Who can apply: ✔ Must live within the PVGID boundary ✔ Must be a registered Nevada voter ✔ Must be willing to attend monthly meetings and participate in district decisions. Trustees help oversee district operations, ensure responsible use of public funds, and oversee by quorum GID activities.

How to apply: Letters of application require written documentation of your background capabilities, connection to the community, and why you’d like to serve.

Road Crew Worker (Palomino Valley GID) Hi neighbors — Palomino Valley GID is looking for a dependable, safety‑minded person to join our Road Crew. If you enjoy outdoor work, operating equipment, and helping keep our rural roads safe and maintained, this could be a great fit.

Full‑time position Work includes grading, patching, drainage maintenance, signage, and equipment operation Outdoor, hands‑on work in all seasons.  Competitive pay based on experience.
